![]() In the Enderal folder, you can find Enderal->EnderalLauncher->system->log->launcher. Anyone have any ideas?įor anyone willing to help, I'm currently trying to diagnose the problem through the Enderal launcher's log. I'm willing to go the extra mile for this beautiful game, but things aren't looking too good. I've tried all the basic fixes already: running as an administrator, whitelisting the files on firewalls/security, giving the launchers extra permissions, validating steam files, uninstalling/reinstalling, removing my Enderal mods, and restarting my computer. Has anyone had this issue before? All the posts I have previously seen involve steam freezing, or the launcher crashing, or some other symptom to deal with, but I'm not experiencing any of that. Steam is convinced that Enderal is running for a few seconds, and then the display is quickly replaced with the "play" button again. The launcher doesn't appear, and my computer carries on as if nothing had occurred. When I run the game from steam (or manually from my files), nothing happens. ![]() That is the ONLY way I can play, hope this at least allows you to enjoy the game until steam and game creators fix the launchers and exe files of the game for enboost compatibility DLL files in general and for Nvidia game cards.Enderal is my favorite game in the world, but a couple of months ago it just stopped launching. UPDATE: NEWSET VERSION ON GITHUB< just read in posts on this nexus link to go to Github and download beta 2.2 plus follow the posts on enderal plug in text, any questions i did it n got mods to work in the game as well just hit me up )Īnd you launch through the "SKSE" button IN mod organizer two (game path settings r easy to do ) Mod organizer 2 ( yes version works with enderal) ( enboost will still be working in the game with this) ( install directions are in read me in downloads, ) ********the launcher through steam and the exe files in your gaming directory still will NOT ( i am unsure why but i believe its a steam conflict with the game exe/launcher files n DLL files but im not a coder so i cannot fix this issue or i would lol ) anyways they still wont load the menu for the game, after three days of searching fixes n tweaks, this is the ONLY way i am able to play( do not know why it WILL launch correctly in mod organizer 2 but it does, UPDATED::::okay so the PROBLEM folks is the ENBOOST DLL, and ( for me the: Nvidia graphics cards, which i have a fix for you and am currently in game as you can see in my workshop screenshots, HOWEVER, and its a big, HOWEVER, it will ONLY work in MOD ORGANIZER 2.( i don't use vortex so u would have to check it on your own) after all tweaks n suggestions including updating windows, graphics cards, integrity check, reinstall steam n the game itself, whitelisted through firewalls, admin runs, compatibility settings etc ,and ALL fixes here plus numerous from Google, still nothing changed or fixed the issue at all cept what i tell u i did at the end of this post. game comp is on the higher end of requirements.oldrim still installed in the game library. Added a pix in my profile, launched through steam launcher, this is as far as it will go, no menu appears ( will not open this far using the exe file from steam games folder, nor mod manager,, just in case makers of game actually read these :0 i have checked everything, game files, firewalls, with /without enboost n one tweak, made sure files r not written only, set in n out of admin mode, set various compatibility mods, overlays on n off, with n without dll enboost file, files integrety check, turned comp off n on, reinstalled game, reinstalled steam, plus all suggestions on google for running windows 10 with steam games as were n are set as all other steam games i own r working correctly, no mods installed so im lost, checked launcher file log, green light all round, no other error reports can be found, i went through every file n folder in enderal, ini's r set to game preference from install, no changes to them.
